The AED course is an “In House” / on-site course.

More and more companies are investing in AEDs and they are becoming ever more

present in public places with more shopping centres and leisure centres starting to have them on site.

They are a proven vital piece of equipment that can dramatically increase survival rates from cardiac arrest.

Fully portable and automatic they can be used anywhere.

The content of the AED Course will include:

  • Airway Management
  • The Respiratory System
  • The Circulatory System
  • CPR – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
  • Dangers – Risks and Safety AED Procedures
  • Automated External Defibrillator Practical
  • Assessment

A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course, and is valid for 1 year.

It is a highly participative course with both tutorial and practical sessions.

This course does entail getting down onto the floor to do practical work.


Principles of COSHH Course

Automated External Defibrillation Course 

This qualification is designed for those who use substances hazardous to health at work.

It introduces candidates to substances, the risks and controls available, and outlines what to expect from a control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) assessment.

The qualification will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in their workplaces.


The qualification covers the following topics:

  • Definition and types of substances hazardous to health in the workplace.
  • Health effects of hazardous substances and their causes.
  • COSHH assessments and control options.
  • Responsibilities imposed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002.
